THE KEY: LONDON
THE KEY exhibition was showcased in London, England at St. James’s Piccadilly, across from the Royal Academy of Arts, opening with a VIP program under the patronage of the Embassy of Egypt in the UK on June 16, 2016. Special guest speakers included: His Excellency Nasser Ahmed Kamel (Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt), Lord and Lady Carnarvon of Highclere Castle, The Rt Rev. & Rt Hon Dr Richard Chartres (Bishop of London), Sheik Ibrahim Mogra (Asst Secretary General of the Muslim Council of Britain), Elisa Sednaoui Dellal (Social Entrepreneur, Model and Actress), The Revd Lucy Winkett (Rector of St. James's Piccadilly) and Shirine Osseiran (participating artist).
During the course of the exhibition, associated programming was held around the themes of THE KEY - harmony, tolerance and peace. These programs included a CARAVAN Lecture with UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador Prof Nasser D. Khalili, an interfaith Iftar with the Mayor of London, Mr. Sadiq Khan, School Educational Workshops for children, artists encounters, panels, concerts, etc.
