The arts have a powerful ability to profoundly impact a community by creatively addressing tensions, divisions and concerns, building bridges of awareness, respect and sharing, that result in new and deepened relationships between those of different backgrounds and worldviews.

A CARAVAN exhibition also serves as a catalyst for each host venue to develop a variety of events and programs tailored to the specific needs of their community to stimulate discussion, dialogue and education around the exhibition’s theme toward promoting further understanding and maximizing the impact for the community - i.e. artist talks, forums, panel conversations, lectures, workshops, musical concerts, literary readings, film screenings, dance performances, drama, and educational activities, etc.

CARAVAN works closely with each host venue to help them develop any associated programs that they would like, sharing from our experience in developing strategic programming around our exhibitions to involve the whole community, widening the reach of the message of the exhibition.

If you are interested in a CARAVAN exhibition coming to your community, please contact us by email at: exhibitions@oncaravan.org
