Rémy Mallet is a curator, art journalist and the Founder of DakartNews, an online platform that promotes contemporary African visual artists. Based out of Dakar, Senegal, he  previously lived and worked in Bonn, Germany as an international journalist for Deutsche Welle, the German public international broadcaster. Rémy Mallet’s curatorial work is deeply informed by his experience of cross-cultural exchanges and his commitment not only to bringing African art to a global stage but also to fostering South-South relationships among African artists. Beyond promoting African artists, DakartNews also serves as a platform that welcomes analysts, art critics, and other art experts to engage in critical discussions and explore new perspectives. The platform operates in English to reach a global audience, bridging diverse cultures and fostering cross-cultural understanding on an international scale. He has curated CARAVAN exhibitions.
