Ndeye Maréme Fall, known as Remena, draws her artistic energy from the streets of Dakar, blending graffiti, painting, and portraiture into a bold and expressive style. Born in 2002, she discovered her passion for graffiti in 2021, quickly emerging as a rising figure in Senegalese street art. Her work is both sensitive and socially engaged, using public spaces to address causes close to her heart, including women’s rights, social justice, and the celebration of African cultures. She is also a co-founder of GSR (Graffiti Solar Rays), Africa’s first female graffiti collective, dedicated to brightening the world through art. Alongside her artistic career, Remena is pursuing a degree in architecture, a field that fuels her creativity and deepens her understanding of form and structure. This unique combination of street art and architectural thinking gives her work a distinctive style — expressive, thoughtful, and deeply rooted in her identity.
