My work, “JOIN THE FIGHT AGAINST COVID-19,” shows all peoples standing together leaving behind their political, social, geographic differences to defeat COVID-19. I believe we need to take a moment to appreciate every person who is in charge of dealing with COVID-19 – i.e. doctors, nurses and volunteers. The amount of pressure and stress they are facing is unbearable. We pray for that day when there will be zero cases worldwide. This artwork was part of an event for Covid-19 patients in Bahrain that were held in quarantine.

Aysha Mohamed is a Bahraini designer and artist, born in 1993. As a young girl she was influenced early on by the artistic influence of a family member, which ultimately led her to pursue a career in graphic design. She sees art and design as integral componentsm and uses various mediums, such as gouache in a more realism style, in your work.
