I AM opened in Burlington, Vermont at The Cathedral Church of St. Paul (Episcopal) on October 25, 2018. Special guest speakers at the official opening program and reception were Betsy Beaulieu of the Cathedral Arts commission, Bishop Thomas Ely of the Diocese of Vermont, Imam Abd'Llah Al-Ansari of The Islamic Society of Vermont, Paul G. Chandler, President of CARAVAN and participating Yemeni-Bosnian artist Alia Ali.
The I AM exhibition was showcased in Burlington through November 25, 2018, where it concluded its 20-month global tour. I AM, featuring 31 premier Middle Eastern women artists from 12 countries and guest curated by Janet Rady, premiered in Amman, Jordan at the National Gallery of Fine Arts in May 2017 under the patronage of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah and during its tour was been showcased in London, England, Washington, D.C., Jackson, Wyoming, Cincinnati, Ohio, Seattle, Washington, Nashville, Tennessee, ending in Burlington, Vermont. Special thanks Art Bahrain Across Borders for their partnership in the US tour of I AM.
