Inspired by concepts in Paradise (Pardes in Hebrew and Jannat in Urdu/Arabic), this artwork explores the question of why we as human beings pursue and strive for perfection and paradise, why we seek that ultimate perfect home. It pains me to see the great exodus of thousands of refugees flooding the news today, displaced from their homes, roaming the world in the constant search for their lost paradise, or their quest for a new one. Exodus: I see myself in you.
