Believing in human ingenuity, this artwork titled "Awakening" emphasizes creating enthusiasm in society toward strengthening empathy, compassion and kindness, rather than destruction, hoping to regain a momentum of peace and harmony to heal our world. The artwork is an imaginary realm that emerges from a flat black background, a symbol of destruction, negativity and ignorance. On the foreground, three figures appear from that darkness into a radiant light, created by the gradient of orange and ochre tones, symbols of ambition and pride. The two figures on the left personalize "Right" and the "Wrong" and give us the impression of insipidity, while on the right side their reflection creates an evolving new figure personalizing "a joyful society." This vibrant twist is suggested simultaneously through an upward circular movement of the hair and the head, and the blue shaded doves, which fly through the body, symbolizing truth and harmony.
