Ella Prakash: Pandemic-Inspired Art
Updated: Jun 12, 2020
The Universe is pulsing, beating with the heart of life. This is a time to listen to fight the war against an invisible enemy - that vibration. To turn inwards so that we can move forward. A time to come together spiritually as one universal family, as one nation of humanity. This painting resonates the rising sun within us, that helps us overcome the darkness of fear and negativity through peace love and light.
Ella Prakash is a Bahrain-based Indian artist best known for her inventive techniques and vibrant use of colors. Her work challenges her to “unlearn” the pattern of control she seeks in representation; thus, reinventing the language of anatomy, chiaroscuro, and storytelling. She founded the Ella Art Gallery in 2004, a contemporary art gallery in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
