The I AM exhibition opened on June 10, 2018 at St Mark's Cathedral in Seattle as part of its 16-month USA tour, running through August 7, 2018.

Before being exhibited in Seattle, I AM premiered its global tour at the National Gallery of Fine Arts, Amman, Jordan in May 2017 and was subsequently showcased on London’s Trafalgar Square at the historic St. Martin-in-the-Fields and then at the American University Museum in Washington DC, The Center for the Arts in Jackson, Wyoming and at Christ Church Cathedral, Cincinnati.

The official opening program and reception on June 10, 2018 at St. Mark’s Cathedral included the following special guest speakers: The Rt Rev Greg Rickel (Bishop of the Diocese of Olympia), participating Yemeni-Bosnian artist Alia Ali, Bassem Bejjani, M.D. (from the Washington State Arts Commission and CARAVAN's Vice President), Rev. Canon Jennifer King Daugherty of St. Mark’s Cathedral and Rev. Canon Paul-Gordon Chandler, Founding President of CARAVAN. The opening also included Middle Eastern musical performances by Stephen Elaimy & Erik Brown of House of Tarab. The excellent reception of Middle Eastern fare was sponsored and catered by Mamnoon.

An exciting schedule of programs accompanied the I AM exhibition in Seattle during the next two months to stimulate discussion, dialogue and education, promoting further understanding.  The US Tour of I AM by CARAVAN is in partnership with Art Bahrain Across Borders (ArtBAB), the premier international art fair in The Kingdom of Bahrain.
