Kahlil Gibran: An Unparalleled Guide for Our Times

A Talk/Lecture by Paul-Gordon Chandler related to his new book, IN SEARCH OF A PROPHET: A Spiritual Journey with Kahlil GIbran

Chandler took the listener on a fascinating journey through the all-embracing nature of Kahlil Gibran, the early 20th century Lebanese-American poet-artist and mystic. He shared how Kahlil Gibran, a supreme East-West figure, can be a compelling and much-needed guide for our times, addressing today's interest in spirituality over religion, to peace, harmony and the building of bridges between the cultures and creeds of the Middle East and West.  The lecture was followed by a book-signing.

“Shared Experiences – Different Cultures”

The I AM exhibition was a catalyst for critical conversations in Jackson around women's issues, locally and globally.  An exciting schedule of three different community programs (held January 21 and February 11) under the title “Shared Experiences – Different Cultures” are accompanying the I AM exhibition in Jackson organized by thinkWY to stimulate discussion, dialogue and education, promoting further understanding.
