On October 12, the "AMEN-A PRAYER FOR THE WORLD" exhibition opened at the historic Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York City, the largest Gothic cathedral in the world, that is known for the arts.  The exhibition ran through November 23, 2014.

 

A VIP Reception hosted by Ambassador Ahmed Farouk, the Consul General of Egypt in New York City, was held on October 16 to officially open the exhibition.  

 

The opening event was attended by numerous dignitaries including The Very Rev Dr James Kowalski,  Dean of the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, Congressman Charles Rangel, Gale Brewer (Manhattan Borough President), Ambassadors, journalists, art patrons, business persons, and religious leaders, etc.
